Hello there, I'm pretty sure that my blog was not update daily and people may not interest with my blog due, its having a problem while loading photos. But, I still working hard to make my blog useful for the other user and today, I'm gonna share a simply tutorial which I thought it will be something useful for Photoshop beginner user.
Ok, what I'm gonna show you is, how to create an animated signature/ words using Photoshop. Actually, I'm not too advanced in using Photoshop. I'm still learning. For all of the tutorial that I share with all of you are adapted and remade from the tutorial that I found on other tutorial website. I hope you will enjoy it.
Step 1
First, open your Photoshop. For this tutorial, I'm gonna use Photoshop CS5. Create a new file with 750 pixels (width) x 50 pixels (height). Named it based on your own.
Step 2
And you'll get something like this.
Step 3
Then, select the Type Tool and type some text on your canvas.
Step 4
Maybe before you start to type some text, you can adjust what font that you will use, size and some colour. I'm gonna use Bauhaus 93 font with 24 pt size for this tutorial with pink color.
Step 5
You can type anything that you like just like that and set the font to the centre so it looks more nice.
Step 6
After you have something like at the above. Try to duplicate the text layer and rasterize it. Just go to the Layer >Duplicate Layer (duplicate it twice). Then, from the layer panel at the right screen, rasterize the layer by clicking on the layer (text layer copy) and click Rasterize Layer. You can rename it using 1 & 2 so that you will not confused with which layer you're working for.
Step 7
Then, hide all layer except Layer 1. (I just named it Layer 1 & 2). So, now, you'll be working at Layer 1.
Step 8
Select the rectangular marquee tools from the tools panel. So now, you will move the text using this tools to make it looks like jumping.
Step 9
What will you have is like this. Do you got it? Yeah just move it the way you like.
Step 10
Now, select Layer 2 and you will do the same things with other letters in this layer.
See, you have the same thing isn't it? You can see the difference between Layer 1 & 2 right?
Step 11
Now, we will start to do the animation. Just activate the animation window. Go to Window >Animation. Now, try to working with the keyframe. You can adjust it just by dragging the keyframe from the beginning or ending and stopped it at any seconds that you want.
To preview what happen with your text when you move the keyframe, just click the red line and move it.
At the first frame, you it will look like this
And for the next keyframe....
Third keyframe
You may also repeat the keyframe. Just duplicate the Layer 1 & 2 as many time as you want and drag & adjust the keyframe to its position
Step 12
Now, we will save this project as 'Save As Web & Devices'.
Choose GIF from the drop down menu and click save.
Step 13
The final result of the project.
